Chemical Process Engineer

Essential Function:

Daily monitoring of yield targets and issues on related processes. Provide technical leadership and coaching to a group of process engineers in technical decisions and directions for projects. Guide team to develop process that is robust and high yielding as well as address and technical issues related to the process. Responsible for managing projects and ensuring quality and standards required.

Responsibilities

Lead area process engineering team to define, implement and sustain manufacturing processes for production to achieve operation excellence in safety, quality, yield and cost performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives. Identify opportunities and manage projects to develop solutions to address process related challenges.
Define project goals, develop project plans, assign tasks, monitor progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Ensure processes are designed and optimized to meet quality standards. Work with relevant parties to ensure that the processes are validated and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Coach the team to maintain accurate documentation of processes, procedures and project activities.
Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Requirements

Min Degree in Chemical/Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
3 to 5 years of experience BGA/LGA process manufacturing. Experience in Plating, Wet Process, Imaging, Molding, Singulation, Laser will be an added advantage.
Familiar with Statistical tools and applications.
Good analytical & problem-solving skills.
Good supervisory skill with leadership charisma.
Ability to commence work immediately is highly advantageous.
