Quality Assurance Officer

  • Manage key customer quality performance and responsiveness to meet and exceed customer quality expectations.

Responsibilities
  1. Timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of documents.
    • Control and storage of document and record.
    • Control the numbering, tracking, sorting, filing, storing and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents.

 

  1. Manage key customer quality performance and responsiveness to to meet and exceed customer quality expectations.
    • Assist Quality Engineer to build up industry insight on emerging customer quality requirements and ensure the readiness of the operation team.
    • Assist Quality Engineer in driving systemic improvement on quality escapees through effective 8D deployment.
    • Assist Quality Engineer to follow up on the Noncompliance improvement, corrective and preventive action closure and monitoring.
    • Data collection and compiling for analysis.

 

  1. Calibration
    • Handling and updating equipment calibration status into Master list(external)
    • Register new equipment that requires calibration.
    • Review the calibration certification before release for use.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in electronics or flex circuit manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of inspectors.
  • Knowledge of quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, root cause analysis, and CAPA.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and drive team performance.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and customer specifications for flex circuits is a plus.
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and audit processes.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes specific to flex circuits.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proactive and willing to learn new skills.
  • Has the authority to stop the line upon approval from immediate superior and work together with functional teams to resolve the issue.
